Faculty of Health Sciences celebrates Black History Month
The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) is celebrating Black History Month as part of the commitment to celebrate Black excellence, address injustices faced and amplify the voices and narratives across the Black community.
The theme for this year’s Black History Month in Canada is “February and Forever: Celebrating Black History today and every day.”
The series of events this month has been established in collaboration with members of the departments of faculty affairs, family medicine, medicine, pediatrics, and health research methods, evidence, and impact as well as the schools of nursing and rehabilitation science.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this listing of FHS events and registration please reach out to Nirosha Balakumar, who is the equality, diversion and inclusion and anti-racism partner with the Department of Family Medicine, at balakn1@mcmaster.ca.
